Summary
Vietnam was once known as a war-torn country. Now it is the time for you to visit an emerging Vietnam at peace. As a country still in the early stage of development, Vietnam has many things that can capture any traveler's heart: a unique and rich civilization with four thousand years of history, friendly and hospitable people, breathtaking natural beauty, more than three thousand kilometers of coastline with astonishing beaches, brilliant green rice paddies, graceful and ‘ancient-looking’ capital Hanoi, or fast-paced, dynamic and exciting Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)… The ‘old’ and the modern, the natural and the manmade existing side by side has given Vietnam an irresistible charm that you hardly find elsewhere in Asia and made Vietnam an appealing destination for the new millennium.
