Detailed Itinerary
.jpg) Depart to Tho Ha, the ancient village of Vietnamese people about 35 km away from Hanoi. Take a short ferry ride over Nhu Nguyet River to the village. Walk around to discover the village with your guide, seeing people making rice paper, distilling rice wine and raising pigs. Visit one typical house in the village and enjoy the simple lunch with a local family. After lunch, drive to Bat Trang village. SEAGATE Travel will take you to the original part of the village where people still manufacture pottery in traditional way. Visit the workshop of a famous artist here. You can learn how to do pottery work or get your portrait painted by the artist on pottery plate. You also have free time for shopping before driving back to Hanoi.
