A boat trip on Mekong River will lead you through small canals with coconut trees on both sides letting their leaves down onto the emerald green water. However, the most interesting thing for you to do here is to discover the daily activities of local people on the river. Interacting with local people, watching them making coconut candies, rice paper or popcorn and pop rice, and even staying overnight with a local family as their special guest also provide you with lively and unforgettable experiences about the trip.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Saigon- Cai Be- Vinh Long (B, L, D)
| Depart to Mekong delta, the rice basket of Vietnam. Visit CaoDai Temple at Ben Luc. Embark on boat at Cai Be to see people making popcorn and poprice or coconut candy. Lunch at a local house in Cai Be. After lunch visit plant nursery of Mr. Tam Tiger and try some fruits in his garden. Overnight at Mr. Muoi Huong’s home. |

Day 2: Vinh Long – Can Tho: (B, L)

Visit local market before boarding on boat to Mr. Sau Giao’s bonsai garden bonsai garden then depart to Vinh Long. Lunch at local restaurant in Vinh Long then continue driving to Can Tho. Visit Vuon Co Bang Lang – the egret garden - before checking in hotel in Can Tho. Overnight at Victoria Can Tho Hotel. |
Day 3: Can Tho- Saigon: (B,L)
| In the morning visit early Cai Rang floating market on Mekong river. Back to hotel for breakfast before departing to Saigon. Lunch at Ngoc Gia Trang Restaurant. Back to Saigon. |
